i don't know if you know the story of the "bowling bowl" accident on Saturday.  Briefly...i placed a 13 lb. fuchsia colored bowling bowl on the high counter to save it with my purse in front of it.   Yes, I moved the purse and the ball rolled off the counter and directly on my brother Mike's left foot.  As his lips and hands were shaking, he says to me in a livid, yet pained, soft voice, "Who puts a bowling ball on a counter?"  His toes immediately swelled which required him to buy a new pair of $114 bowling shoes from the pro shop.   I'm sure he'll be sending me the bill.   I was really just trying to level the playing field, but alas, he won anyway.   So, here's a picture of his foot only 5 hours later.   If anyone wondered why mike didn't dance that night, here's why.    Suki Wise '71
